1. What problems or conflicts are presented in chapter one? Tao needing to find a rabbit is an obvious one; identify at least two more (not having anything to do with the rabbit!).
One is, he finds something lurking in the grass, also he has to hide from Volt.
2. Predict the resolution of each conflict.
it is really an abandoned baby wolf,and Volt sees him.

I would have banished Tao and until he found food for all the village, he would never come back again. And if he did bring a lot of food, then maybe i would have let him back, but he will only hunt alone. And if he kept working hard alone then he wold be worthy of hunting with the men

I disagree with Graybeard because, maybe this has to be a taboo that needs to be a thing that all people can do, so that not only the chosen ones can do it, but everyone else too.
Chapter 8
An important theme in this novel is that people should follow their dreams and do what they believe is right, even if they don't follow their society's expected ways.
The author examines this theme in a stone age setting. Imagine a similar situation today, where a person's desires go against society's expectations
What situation did you imagine? I imagine a boy who wants to be a nurse, but his parents want him to be a doctor.
In the situation you imagined, should the person follow his or her dreams or should they follow society's rules? Give your opinion. He should follow his dreams, because it's his choice not his parents.

I felt so tense when Volt said that he had to fight Saxon the Sacred bull. Also when Ram saved Volt and Volt said that Wolf dogs aren't bad. My favorite part was when Tao finally figured out Volt was his father.
